Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS)
Some patients undergoing fertility treatment may experience Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS). OHSS is a complication that can occur with gonadotropin medications, which are used in fertility treatments such as superovulation and IVF. This condition can lead to ovarian enlargement, fluid collections in the abdomen and dehydration.
